Learn about Leadership Skagit, your local community leadership program

MOUNT VERNON — Leadership Skagit is hosting its annual information reception for those interested in learning about its 9-month community leadership program. The reception, sponsored by Banner Bank, will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. May 7 at the Grand Willow Inn.Each year Leadership Skagit selects up to 35 current and emerging leaders from throughout Skagit County to participate.  The upcoming class begins in September 2019 and culminates with graduation in June 2020. The program’s goal is to ensure that emerging leaders have the training and knowledge necessary to step into community leadership positions and that current leaders have an opportunity to sharpen and share their skills.JOIN US ATGrand Willow Inn5:30 to 7 p.m., May 7, 2019
