13th Annual SICBA Home Tour Award Winners Announced

Burlington, WA… The Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association (SICBA) announced its award winners from the association’s 13th Annual SICBA Home Tour held September 13th, 14th & 15th. The Overall Best of Tour winner was a custom home in Anacortes built by Kreider Construction. The Kreider Construction home was also awarded Best of Category A, which consisted of homes 3,000 square feet and above. Best of Category B (2,000 square feet – 2,999 square feet) was awarded to a custom home in Mount Vernon, built by BYK Construction. Best of Category C (1,999 square feet and below) was awarded to a custom home in Freeland, built by Eagle Development Group. Best Of Awards were also presented to the Builders listed below.

The “People’s Choice” award for the viewing public’s favorite SICBA Home Tour house was awarded to the Stewart Residence home in Anacortes, built by Kreider Construction.

This year’s Home Tour featured ten homes by nine local SICBA member builders located in Anacortes, Burlington, Freeland, Greenbank, Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor and Sedro Woolley. The SICBA Home Tour is recognized as the premier showcase of the homebuilding industry in both Skagit and Island Counties.

The Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association is a trade association of builders and associates involved in all phases of the home building industry.  Chartered in 1979, SICBA represents some 475 construction-related businesses throughout Skagit and Island Counties.
