Annette Booth Insurance Agency Donates 14th Allstate Agency “Hands in the Community” Grant
December 5, 2019, (Mount Vernon, WA ): Over the past decade, the Annette Booth Agency, an Allstate insurance firm with locations in Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, and Bellingham, has steered more than $20,000 in grants to provide financial support to a wide range of nonprofits in Skagit and Whatcom counties. Annette Booth, president of the agency, recently announced her firm’s 14th grant, this time in the form of a $500 grant to the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation, the Mount Vernon-based Hospice center that assists individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness.
The grant is part of the Allstate Foundation’s “Hands in the Community” program which provides a route for Allstate agents to make a direct impact in their community. “We believe in the Good Hands promise, which means we are always working to protect our clients and help those in need in our community,” said Annette Booth.
Wendy Coates, Executive Director of Hospice of the Northwest Foundation said offered thanks to Annette Booth and her team for selecting the local Hospice organization to receive the grant funds.
“Financial support, like the Hands in the Community grant, impacts the quality of life of hospice patients as well as the people they love. We are grateful for this type of community support. Because of this gift, expert, compassionate and dignified end-of-life care is available in our community to anyone coping with a life-limiting illness,” Coates said.
