Meet our instructor Danielle: I started gardening as a little girl when my grandmother gave me my first spider plant. I've been in the horticulture industry ever since, started with a job at 15 at a wholesale rhododendron nursery and landscape company in Woodinville. After I met my husband, we moved to Skagit County where I managed Young's nursery for 6 years. When the owner retired I went to Skagit Gardens wholesale nursery and worked there as a sales rep for 22 years. My husband and I own a beautiful home on the Skagit River with our five dogs, three horses, and one cat.
