Committed to sharing kindness and appreciation throughout Northwest Washington, Barron KARES donated a total of $100,320 to 12 nonprofit organizations in 2024, the first year of the program.
Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing is highlighting a different charity or non-profit organization each month that holds high esteem among Team Barron and within the communities it serves. Barron KARES (Kindness, Appreciation, Response, Empathy, and Service) provides a charitable donation of $110 on select purchases, such as tankless water heaters, heat pumps, solar installations, generators, and more.
The most recent recipients of a Barron KARES donation were Lighthouse Mission Ministries, Growing Veterans, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services, Whatcom County Search & Rescue, Whatcom Humane Society and The D.I.S.H. Foundation. The first six recipients were Skookum Kids, Royal Family Kids Camp, Wild Bird Charity, National MS Society, Whatcom Land Trust and American Legion, according to CEO Brad Barron.
“We are amazed by the wonderful work of these organizations that improve the lives of so many people,” Barron said. “By featuring a different charity or non-profit each month, we hope to help illuminate organizations that align with our values and resonate with our team and communities.”
