Heritage Flight Museum and Port of Skagit Hosting Aviation Event on July 13th
The community is invited to explore the world of aviation on July 13, 2019 at Heritage Flight Museum.
The Port of Skagit is partnering with Heritage Flight Museum to host the port’s Community Aviation Day in conjunction with the museum’s July Fly Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Port of Skagit is sponsoring admission for the museum’s July Fly Day, so the event will be FREE to attend.
The event will feature educational and fun activities for all ages, as well as exciting flying demonstrations by Heritage Flight Museum. Events will take place at the Heritage Flight Museum, 15053 Crosswind Drive, Burlington.
There will also be a special presentation marking the 50th Anniversary of one of the biggest Search & Rescue missions of the Vietnam War, the Sandy FAC (Forward Air Control) Rescue of Boxer 22 in late 1969.

- Sign-up for Young Eagle Flights ages 8 to 17.
- Youth activities and virtual reality flights.
- Live radio broadcast with KISM 92.9
- Food and drink vendors
