McKenna Klein Joins HKP Architects
McKenna received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interiors, Architecture, and Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in Milwaukee, WI. Her design interest is in sustainability, contributing to the local community, and Human Centered Design (HCD) based on a particular subject’s needs, values, and experience. Prior to coming to HKP, she spent three years as an architectural designer for Paradigm v2 Architects in Missoula, Montana. She brings experience as a project manager, marketing and design assistant, and internal communications director. As a designer, she has worked on a variety of project types, including residential construction, adaptive reuse, park rejuvenations, commercial interior design, and K-12 and university master planning, new construction, and renovations.
At HKP Architects, McKenna is currently working on the Skagit Valley College Dental Health Aid Therapist (DHAT) Lab, a Site Selection Study for a construction trades training facility, and Master Planning for St. Mary Parish in Anacortes, Washington.
