Mount Vernon Community Invited to Attend Superintendent Interviews
As the Mount Vernon School District Board of Directors continues its search for the next superintendent, they would like to thank the community for their participation leading up to this point of the process. The board would like to extend an invitation to the community to participate in the remaining steps of the process.
The superintendent vacancy closes on February 14th. The school board will review applications, and select six semi-finalists to be interviewed on February 29th. The community is invited to attend the interviews and provide feedback to the board.
Semi-Finalist Interviews
February 29th

Each Interview will begin at the top of the hour with a lunch break from 12-1pm.
Following, the three finalists selected by the board will tour our district and meet with various groups on March 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. The community is invited to a public forum, which will be held on these dates for each individual finalist. Please see below for details.
