Widespread wildfires

Wildfires are widespread through many areas of eastern and central Washington. Authorities have ordered immediate evacuations (level 3) in many areas. Please follow any evacuation instructions from your local authorities. If you need assistance, the American Red Cross has established a contact point to get help:

• Virtual Temporary Evacuation Point (VTEP)
• Evacuees should call 509-670-5331 for assistance

If you have time: evacuating residents are encouraged to bring the following for each member of their family: prescription and emergency medication, extra clothing, pillows, blankets, hygiene supplies, important documents and other comfort items. Additionally, special items for children and infants, such as diapers, formulas and toys, should be brought, along with other items for family members who may have other needs.
