EDASC Launching Free Mental Health Pilot Program
To assist employers with employee retention, recruitment, and productivity, EDASC is offering a no-cost pilot program providing mental health and wellbeing services to employees of businesses with 25 or fewer employees. The program will last one year.
Funding for this program is provided by Skagit County and its commissioners.
The program, deployed through a phone and computer app called Nivati, includes:
- Six free hours of one-on-one virtual counseling with licensed professionals for each of your employees
- Access to an extensive video-on-demand library on wellness topics like yoga, fitness, nutrition, sleep, and finance
- Employee utilization reporting and analytics
Studies by the Center for Disease Control and Deloitte Insights show a positive return on investment in funding workplace mental health programs. Nivati has served 1.2 million employees, with its analytics showing reduced missed workdays by 60%. Also, 85% of employees have exhibited improved work performance, 60% reported more motivation, and 75% reported feeling better after attending therapy.
To learn more about the platform, view a 3-minute introduction video here and view their website here. This pilot program is intended to help employers provide a valuable benefit to employees and support recruitment and retention efforts, while improving employee performance.
To be eligible to participate, your business must be located in Skagit County and employ 25 or fewer.
Signups will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The pilot program will cover 500 total employees. Click here to sign up. After completing the signup form, an EDASC employee will contact you to register your employees.
EDASC will launch the pilot program after it completes signups. A webinar will be hosted to introduce users to the Nivati app, and answer questions.
