North Coast Credit Union moving Anacortes branch
North Coast Credit Union is moving its Anacortes branch into the community’s downtown sector, making it more convenient for many members.
The branch will open Jan. 8 at 3110 Commercial Ave., across 32nd Street from Guardian Northwest Title & Escrow. Until then, North Coast Credit Union will be operating at its current location just off Highway 20 and near Swinomish Golf Links. Hours will remain 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“The new location makes us more accessible for Anacortes residents and businesses,” said Olivo Flores, branch manager for North Coast Credit Union. “That’s especially important because we’re the only full-service Anacortes credit union with an open membership. Our membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Washington state.
“We’re owned by our members and exist solely to serve them. We return our earnings to members in the form of low fees, low loan rates and higher rates on savings.
North Coast had over 20,000 members as of Dec. 31, 2022. It offers traditional banking products, plus consumer, business and real-estate loans. In addition to Anacortes, North Coast has branches in Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham (2) and Ferndale.
