Stuff the Bus Food Drive
Helping Hands and Marathon will be STUFFING THE BUS in the fight against hunger!
Helping Hands and the Marathon Anacortes Refinery are challenging the community to Stuff the Bus starting August 12th through the 26th in support of The Cutting Hunger on Weekends (CHOW) program.
Donations can be dropped off at 9386 Fruitdale Rd, Sedro-Woolley, WA, 98284, Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 3:00pm.
The CHOW program started in 2014, supporting one local elementary school. Now, through Helping Hands, the CHOW program is available for children across Skagit County, providing nutritious food for the weekends delivered directly to their door. The Anacortes Refinery including all employees, contractors, suppliers, and truck drivers have been a huge supporter of the CHOW program since 2017.
As a new school year approaches, Helping Hands’ goal is to continue to support kids throughout Skagit County. To impact the life of a child in your community, please consider donating directly to the CHOW program or by dropping off food donations at Helping Hands Food Bank and Solutions Center.
If you are located in the Anacortes area, please contact Tara at TJHavard@marathonpetroleum to coordinate a local food drop off location.
